Career Prospects for Graduates of ICMS

Due to the specialized nature of the Master's in Crisis Management Studies, students gain enhanced career prospects in a multidisciplined area. In addition to a rigorous academic program, students will also gain practical experience through field visits, excursions and simulation exercises. This will aid the student in finding work in a broad range of fields, including international organisations such as the United Nations; nongovernmental organizations working in the field of crisis management or social justice; in government and the public sector; or as researchers and journalists. The Master's program also prepares students to progress to the Ph.D. level.

The staff here are always available for career advice and information on possible internships with organizations working in the area of crisis both nationally and internationally.
