Being a former student of the institute, I would highly recommend this institute to any perspective students. My own journey with the institute started when i decided to pursue my career towards humanitarian aid. The institute provides platform for students to learn theories and apply theory into real life. When I was a student, I participated in various programs such as development of DRR training curriculum for students; awareness and sensitization session for school students & communities in DRR; and research pertaining to disaster risk reduction and management. The institute prepares future crisis managers to deal with complex humanitarian issue through its multidisciplinary course and through lessons learnt and example from faculty members and teachers with years of experience working in the field of humanitarian aid.
