Day one of ERASMUS+ Information Sessions for Nepali Higher Education Institutions and Students
Representatives from Nepali Higher Education Institutions and students attended the first day of the ERASMUS+ information session, held at the Samarpan Academy (ICMS). Topics included the opportunities ERASMUS offers to institutions through partnerships and capacity building, as well as how students can apply, the benefits, and past experiences.
Special guests and speakers included Mr Andreas Roettger, Head of Cooperation EU Delegation to Nepal, Mr Ralf Rahders, EACEA Head of Unit, Dr Ram Thapaliya, Chair of the ICMS, and Mrs Sudha Tripathi, Rector of Tribhuvan University.
ICMS students Sumit Rana and Satish Baidya gave attendees a brief introduction to the institute, its courses, and the rationale behind its establishment as an education hub for the next generation of disaster management professionals.
