Leena Sah, an educator since 1996 completed B.Sc B.Ed course in 1993 and ventured into first teaching assignment for a short period before beginning Master's program at Banaras Hindu University, India majoring in Zoology. Following completion of her Master's degree moved to Nepal and began teaching career from +2 Science Colleges. With passage of time, her teaching skills developed and acquired teaching experience in Bachelor's level under Tribhuvan University. In 2005, she shifted to The Netherlands where she completed her second Master's in Environmental Science in 2009. Following, she worked as visiting faculty at UNESCO-IHE institute in The Netherlands, Delft. Later in 2013, she came back to Nepal and since then has been continuing teaching assignments in various courses at Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL), holding the designation of Assistant Professor. Her responsibilities include teaching, thesis supervision and co supervision, coordination, proposal development for projects and facilitating project procurement process, organizing field trips, examination and evaluation support. In addition, she is engaged as faculty at Institute of Crisis Management (ICMS), where she is teaching module "Biological and Ecological Disaster". Her interest area range from biodiversity, climate change, pollution control, Human wildlife conflict, and ecosystem based disaster management
