The Institute of Crisis Management Studies is a well-known center for academia focusing on the management of crisis resulting from both human activity and natural causes.

About ICMS

The Institute of Crisis Management Studies (ICMS) at Samarpan Academy, Tribhuvan University, is a pioneering institution dedicated to preparing professionals for complex global challenges. ICMS offers the Master in Crisis Management Studies (MCM), the first program of its kind in Nepal and one of the very few worldwide. The degree blends theory with experiential learning, equipping students to respond to natural disasters, social upheavals, and organizational crises with confidence and skill.

Samarpan Academy also provides a Master in Counselling Psychology (MCP), designed to meet the rising demand for mental health professionals. The program emphasizes emotional, social, educational, vocational, and developmental aspects of human growth, with a strong focus on crisis contexts.

At the undergraduate level, the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program builds strong foundations in IT, computing and innovation, enabling graduates to thrive in the dynamic digital world.

Together, these programs make ICMS a leader in transformative, socially relevant education.
