Educational Visit to NDRRMA

Master in Crisis Management Studies (MCMS) students had the valuable opportunity to visit the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) and gain firsthand insights into Nepal's disaster risk reduction and management system.

During the visit, students learned about NDRRMA's vital role as the central coordinating body for disaster management in Nepal. The session highlighted the Authority's work in disaster preparedness, risk assessment, early warning systems, search and rescue operations, emergency response coordination, relief management, psychosocial support, climate change adaptation, community engagement, and capacity building at federal, provincial, and local levels.
